I should do justice to my shoes
Having a 'cinderella' feet like me make it hard for me to find suitable shoe size, and what more to find comfy shoes.
Thus, when I found one that meet the above criteria, i will wear it most of the time. Though I have other shoes to wear.
The current Joyce shoes is already 2 years old, and I wear it to work almost everyday since this shoes make me walk faster. cheyh
Fuh.
Now this shoes is already lunyai. I need to find new shoes before this shoes give up on me.
Pls Camel, more sales please :D

Hikmah
Mungkin ada hikmahnya asyik delay nak renew safety passport ni.
Safety passport untuk ke offshore.
Passport dh expired since November, tp sebab ade je training/keje2 ofis yg kena setelkan.
So in the end sampai hari ni x buat medical check-up and bosiet and renew passport.
Time tea break tadi kecoh sebab colleague mention Bekok terbakar.
Menyirap darah jap since weekend before nak ke training, field sendiri pun was on fire.
Nasib baik fire yg kecik2, n Alhamdulillah no one was injured. N nasib baik xrenew passport lg since sepatutnya mmg kena g offshore..
And, baru je masa lunch tadi borak2 pasal fire tu n another fire yg happen recently kt field lain
Tup2, Bekok lak on fire, n ade injuries. InsyaAllah, harap2 semua personnel selamat.
Ikut rumours, source of fire is from gas pipeline. Fuhh, bahaya!
To all personnel and families involved, banyak2 berdoa n insyaAllah semua selamat.
Nothing is so urgent, safety first :D

To do list
Watching amazing race asia 4 really entice me to join this race. The team spirit, happiness among the team members, fuhh..awesome!
U get to travel all around the world, to exotic places..for FREE!
Plus, u get the chances to do things like bungee jumping, artsy-crafty things that u surely will not do in ur daily life, driving caravan, etc
But there are things that I always wonder with my do ability to certain things, such as:
Drink ginger tea?
Eat vegetables?
Drive manual car?
Or simplest thing..to pat a cat..huuu
But, if I get a chance to join this race, first thing first that will hit my mind is, how m I going to pray in between of my race? I mean, u'll get dirty in the middle of the race, and since u'll be travelling to different continents, u shud aware of prayer time at those locations.
Hurm..

Buat baik dibalas baik
A friend of mine P was angry with me this morning since I forwarded invitation of her knowledge sharing session to our line department.
I felt that the topic she wanna share is interesting enough for our fraternity to benefit of.
Thus, my intention was to promote the knowledge sharing from our working level since most of the time our knowledge sharing revolves around vendors promoting their services and technologies.
Not that I know, she's angry with my intention..till another friend told me bout that.
Worst since my friend X get 'scolded' since I requested her to forward that email.
Huu. Initially, I felt bad since X get scolded, so I met P and explained my intention. Luckily, she managed to cool down.
Thus, P presented in the afternoon. I may say, response from our fraternity was good since many turned up to hear the presentation. And P managed to answer every questions posed to her smoothly.
What was shocking me later that P thanked me for forwarding the invitation to our fraternity. I guess, she benefit most from the knowledge sharing just now since that really boost her confidence J

Ponder
..
my new project seem to be challenging. too much uncertainties. lack of data. no budget.
and yet, we need to make wonders out of it. phew.
..
had technical review yesterday. to summarize, human error had caused the problems to happen.
thus, i need to find ways to troubleshoot the problems and revive the wells.
i was quite stunned when most of the experts laughed at the problems. rephrased : cause of the problem and people in charged at that yesteryears time.
my proposals were rejected.
fine with me since personally i think, the study should be more detail. though to the management, they need to settle these problems quickly
..
i just wonder, what if i/any of the expert was the one who handles the project at that time.
can we solve the problem?
can we take better measures compared to what this fullar had done?
..
let bygone be bygone :D

I came across Cyprus thru amy’s penpal
Yeah. It's an amazing way right, to discover new and 'unheard' country thru penpal.
Long time ago, my big brother (and few other cousins) subscribed to one penpal newsletter where u'll receive 12 addresses (if I'm not mistaken) from countries u chose from. U can pick 'random countries' too.
That time, it was pretty much thrill to receive letters from oversea. Though u need to wait for week(s). And summore, our hobbies were collecting stamps. Thus, making it easy for us to add on to our collections.
Besides, having penpal really helped a lot in improving our English. But, nowadays I don't think having penpal, especially using snail mail is an attractive option anymore.
Nowadays, we are really skeptical with our surroundings, people who make contact with us, not to mention the strangers. Parents will not easily approve their children to write letters to strangers, or may be fastforward..online chatting with strangers, of course.
Do u still remember A/S/L?
For u who don't know..
A=age
S=sex
L=location
Ok, enough of diverting. Howgoodtohaveanotherpenpalatthispointoftime, aite? :D

Amidst the tense, I still can find time to do baking.
Such enjoyable moment to have the cookies aroma floating around in the house.

Crude-water-gas
Thing I must remember :
If there's water cut, means the well is producing crude!
.
This one string is quite funny.
One time, it produces 100% crude
The next day, it produces 100% water
The following day, it produces gas only
.
.
.
Based on the last analysis done, I decided to close in this well for 1 week.
The following week, when we open it up, it produces oil. Happy?
Noooooo. Cos later in the afternoon, it produces water again.
Water means bad news for us.
So, we close in the well again for few days.
After few days, we open it up, and it produces gas only.
Analysis shown the gas is from gaslift source. Lucky!
After few attempt, and almost give up for this well, suddenly this well begin to produce 55% watercut.
That's huge!!!!
.
.
.
No expert was around to help me analyze this strange problem. For me, this is strange lorr.
Lucky, one senior willing to help me up. Mind you, it's already after 5pm, and the next day will be public hols for Deepavali.
.
.
He guides me thru the phone, and proposed several options and possible root causes for the problem. So, we decided to just flow the well, and based on him, this well actually has lots more potential and we shud bean up further. Thanks peep! U r one good man! hehe
.
.
Ok, since this weekend is holiday for all of us, let's wait for 3 days and observe this well first before we bean up further. Please please, no sand please.. ;D

Panic Attack!
I'm not someone who will phone my parents daily. Its just my habit that I don't like making/answering calls. But this morning, when I tried to call both my parents, and cant reach both of them, I went panic. This shouldn't be the case since they will answer me whenever I call them. Be it morning, noon or night.
At first, I thought my phone was having connection problem. Thus, I tried to call my brother, and seem the phone is OK. My last resort was to check with my little sister since she's the one who love making calls to others. Worst, when she also did not make any calls to my parents since yesterday..
And then, late noon, Papa called. Phew, Alhamdulillah. He told me that both their Simcards were faulty and they went to change the cards.
Whoa. Half a day was thinking lots of possibilities that can happen to them, since both of them are staying far from our family. Alhamdulillah, nothing happen..

Why we always hate our job?
and, to our amazement, the three of us in the car yesterday, shared the same view..
Overworked and too much stress had made us somehow hate our job.
But, as Ziera mentioned, "we need to work cos we need that paycheck to support our life".
and now I know, I'm not the only one that sometime just 'hate' my job. Others felt the same too..
I hate my job when:
- I cant solve the problems
- People expect me to solve immediately every single problem tht happen
- I dont know how to solve the problems
it's just like, a doctor who doesnt know what his patient's disease is, and how to cure the patient..

Multitasking
Is it good or not?
For me, it's good since I can save a lot of time by just doing it.
Eg: washing cloth + eating + reading + watching TV
The not so gooood thing about this:
I tend to lost my focus, and end up doing another task more than the other tasks.
Eg: Reading while completely forgot to hang the laundry..
Like right now, I'm supposed to finish sewing my pants, instead…
..
..
I'm reading others' blogs while watching TV. Sigh. And the laundry is waiting to be hanged. Double sigh.

Pressure cooker pun x pressure macam ni..
What will u feel if u r in the situation below? :
- It was Sunday evening and u received a call from your colleague asking bout your presentation pack.
- You already prepared the pack, only that u need to do some touch up and beef up the presentation pack.
- And ur colleague mentioned, "nevermind,if u don't do the slides, let me do it and u just present it at the office tomorrow"
Monday:
- U arrived early in the morning at office and u were in the midst of having ur normal cup of coffee.
- Then , d same colleague keep pestering u bout the slides.
- U became fed up, and u send the half-cooked slides to that fuller.
- That fuller commented on ur slides, saying that the slides are boring and there's no animation.
That fuller asked ur trainee to create animation for u, which at the same time u already half-way with that animation.
Continue:
- Ur boss was not free throughout the day. So there's no point of u rushing to present the half-cook slides.
- Half-cook meant that the facts presented are not up to CTEs expectation. And the facts are sloppy since u don't have time to cross-check the facts.
…
Owh, I don't know, but I just pissed off with this kind of creature.
So, what say u?

That's the name of cable I routed & installed just now.
Fancy? Hebat? Wait till u see it :
Cheers~
Ms. Lucky
I'm just so lucky compared to others here. Being the only woman here, I get the privilege of having a room of my own, a toilet of my own J
I was quite skeptical at first; thus, when I packed my things at 4am on the day I was suppose to travel, I just packed everything that I can grab off.
The result…1trolley bag + 1 backpack. I packed extra since the last time I came here I remember the washing machine and dryer r down.
Guess what, the people here dry their shirt at the compressor. Creative :D
The good thing of not travelling light was…… the dryer and the machine are still downJ
And they don't have enough soap also. Kesian kesian.
I always have this guilty feeling since as an extra person here, I'm utilizing their things, so they guys need to always give-in whenever I come here.
I'm lucky indeed. Bukan Lelaki, but lucky :D

Sexist
One:
Once, a guy I met at offshore told me, "if u r my girlfriend/wife, definitely I wont allow u to work offshore"
Luckily that guy is not my boyfriend/husband. Heh.
Two:
"I don't know why girsl wanna be Petroleum Engineers. Girls are supposed to wait for a prince to kneel down and propose you to get married, and live happily ever after"
My reply, " I knew a Malay lady from Malaysia who is now Worldwide Specialist for Turbomachinery. That kind of thing is tougher than what currently I'm doing". Fullstop.

Clash of the plumbers (1)
Situation : Pipe outside my house has been leaking for few times. Initially, it was caused by the leaking filter gasket. Changed. But the leaking problem still happens. Thru trial and error, it was discovered that the pipe inlet was also having leaking problem. This is the major problem if I on the pump. But, no pump, slow water ma..
Solution:
Condo maintenance : "the water pressure is too high, u need to install PRV (pressure regulating valve) to control the pressure. And u need to repair this leaking immediately since ur unit is causing disturbance to other tenants. [and yes, I need to bear all this cost; call the plumber to break the wall, retrieve the leaking pipe, replace it, cement back][u r right, causing trouble to other tenants? Only 2 units occupied nearby, and those are weekend houses kot ;( ]
Plumber A [actual profession-filter maintenance guy]: "u need to install PRV, total estimated cost RM400" [bapak mahal, plus this guy does shabby job, twice he repaired the filter and twice leaking happened, plus this guy is gedik]
Plumber B [ex-maintenance guy at this area]: "ur filter and pump already have the PRV, no need to install new one" [before he troubleshoot the leaking, he discovered that the pump is already short (circuit), opened up and find something burnt inside there, change the internal part but pump still not working. Changed the leaking pipe. Guess what, the pipeline internal is badly corroded due to the 'cleanliness' of water supply here]. Total damage done :RM200
Part of the problem already solved but still need to call the pump guy to troubleshoot the pump. Low water pressure @ house. 30minutes for normal shower..
Plumber C [the pump guy]: Pissed off since plumber B modified the piping route. According to him, water need to enter the pump first before going to the filter and into the house. I clarified saying that the water is full with corrosion, thus can caused the pump to be kaput. Sigh. [Plumber C find out that the pump motor is kaput. Options : to repair the pump (RM700) or replace with brand new pump (RM1,400). Of course, I choose the cheapest option, see what can this option do]
Total damage done to date: RM200
Expected total damage done: RM900
Next job: Remove the parquette flooring and put normal tiles.
Fuhh, there goes my money. with this current condition, I doubt I can save lots of money to buy my wishlist.
p/s: just replaced the laptop battery. Total damage done :RM380. Sigh.

Pigeonhole
Things u will face once u stay at condo/apartment:
- Anything u wanna do needs permission from the management
- Ur complains will be put on deaf ear
- The alien guards seem to be more 'tuan' than the real owner of condo/apartment
- Ur friends & families cannot overnight at your house for so long
- U cannot park at adjacent block's parking, even to pay ur maintenance fee
- Others' cats can simply poo poo at ur doorstep, and u need to clean it everyday
- Ur house water pressure will be lower, till the point that u need to install ur own pump
- U cant have a nice garden to plant ur pandan leaves, curry leaves, lime, chillies, etc
Thus, lets save a lot of money and buy landed property; where u can make ur own decision and don't need to go thru these hassle things.

I did create a blog?
Surprise..suprise..
My initial intention was to move from my fotopages (that had turn into wordpages) to blogspot/wordpress.
Not that I know, actually I did create a blogspot long time ago.
From the last post, it was when I took Heat and Mass Transfer subject..
Err, HMT tahun berapa ye?
OK, so hi people! :D
