I came across Cyprus thru amy’s penpal

Yeah. It's an amazing way right, to discover new and 'unheard' country thru penpal.
Long time ago, my big brother (and few other cousins) subscribed to one penpal newsletter where u'll receive 12 addresses (if I'm not mistaken) from countries u chose from. U can pick 'random countries' too.
That time, it was pretty much thrill to receive letters from oversea. Though u need to wait for week(s). And summore, our hobbies were collecting stamps. Thus, making it easy for us to add on to our collections.
Besides, having penpal really helped a lot in improving our English. But, nowadays I don't think having penpal, especially using snail mail is an attractive option anymore.
Nowadays, we are really skeptical with our surroundings, people who make contact with us, not to mention the strangers. Parents will not easily approve their children to write letters to strangers, or may be fastforward..online chatting with strangers, of course.
Do u still remember A/S/L?
For u who don't know..
A=age
S=sex
L=location

Ok, enough of diverting. Howgoodtohaveanotherpenpalatthispointoftime,aite? :D
